Winks - Business Policies


Please aim to arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time with clean/makeup free eyes and lashes. Extra time spent cleaning your lashes will mean less time lashing. Please use this time to either fill out paper work if you are a new client or simply to use the restroom and make any calls you need to make during this time as we ask that all cell phones are turned off during your appointment. If you arrive after your scheduled appointment time, it may not be possible to extend the time available for your booked service; if your service is shortened due to your late arrival, you will still be charged the full cost of the service. If you arrive late to your appointment and there is not enough time to perform your service then you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. If you are asked to reschedule, you will still be responsible for that days services as a very late arrival will be treated the same as a NO SHOW APPOINTMENT.



PLEASE TURN OFF ALL CELL PHONES PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. This is meant to be a relaxing time for you. Not to mention you are to remain laying down with your eyes closed and hearing your cell phone going off may be a little too tempting to some for you to pop those eyes open even for a moment. Any opening of your eyes may result in irritation and or discomfort from the adhesives used as well as cause red eyes. It is also highly distracting to your artist as this skill set requires a high level of concentration. We will not be answering texts, calls, or reading you your texts or telling you who is calling. If you are expecting an important call during your appt. please let us know prior to your appt.


A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to reschedule or cancel a booked appointment without penalty. For permanent makeup appointments a minimum of 72 hours is required to reschedule or cancel a booked appointment without penalty. Anything less than the time frame state here will result in standard cancellation fees or if you wish to reschedule for later that week and there is the availability to do so then this rescheduling will result in a $30 Reschedule Fee.


If you, or another person in your household, has an infectious or contagious illness, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment for a later date. For your safety and that of staff and other clients, please do not come to your appointments sick. If it is assumed you are currently sick, your appointment may be cut short or cancelled and rescheduled for when you are healthy again. As a working mom, I understand the occasional family emergency may arise unexpectedly. A one-time allowance of last minute cancellation or reschedule will be permitted for sickness or family emergency. After that the cancellation and no show policy is in full effect.



As a courtesy, appointment reminders are sent out 72 and 24 hours either by text, email or both. If an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of your appointment, you will be charged  50% of your service as a cancellation fee. If you reschedule or no show your appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time, you will be charged 100% of your service as a cancellation fee. A 50% credit card deposit for all new clients or appointments over $100 will be required at the time of booking and will not be charged until the appointment has been booked by you and accepted by us. This deposit is NON REFUNDABLE & will become forfeit if less than 72/48 hours notice is given for cancellations/rescheduling, as per policy. This is to protect your time that is set aside especially for you, as well as to protect our time which books up quickly, especially around any upcoming holiday. Also this gives those on a waiting list more time to make arrangements to come in and book one of those time slots. In turn, we promise to keep appointments on time, give you our full and undivided attention and of course, the best lash work the TRI STATE AREA/Orange County has to offer! PLEASE NOTE: ALL APPTS BOOKED IN EVANSVILLE WITH DANIELLE ARE SET IN STONE 1 WEEK PRIOR TO HER FLYING INTO TOWN. ANY CANCELLATION THEREAFTER WILL RESULT IN 100% CANCELLATION FEE. THIS IS BECAUSE HER TIME IN EVANSVILLE IS VERY LIMITED AND SHE FLIES INTO TOWN JUST TO DO YOU LOVELY LADIES LASHES!!


New clients with extensions must schedule a “New Client Touch Up”. If you currently have eyelash extensions on from another lash artist, there is a strong likelihood that your lashes will need to be removed and put back on properly. Due to the unregulated nature of eyelash extension trainings, certifications and state board regulations, there are a lot of lash artists that have been improperly trained and at WINKS Blink & Beauty Bar our priority is your natural lash health and eye safety. Thus if you are coming in for a touch up from another lash artist, then you agree that your current extensions may need to be removed and a new full set will be applied at the appropriate full set price. 



​Certain circumstances and seasons may leave you in a panic to squeeze in a last minute appointment that is outside of our normal business hours. After hours appointments may be available on a case by case basis for an additional fee. There is a minimum after hours appointment fee of $50 and will be determined by the time of day appointment is requested as well as the amount of time given. Any Holiday the salon is closed for, Examples: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Day, Easter, etc., will result in a $100 after hour appt. no exceptions.  Please contact us directly to schedule your after hours appointment.


In some cases such as "Full Sets" or new clients a booking fee may required in order to secure your appointment. This booking fee is 100% NON REFUNDABLE. We work by appointment only and do not accept walk-ins therefore this guarantees this time is set aside just for you. If you need to cancel your appointment and you have already paid your booking fee then this booking fee may be transferable ONE TIME ONLY for another day of your choosing within 30 days of the original appointment. This is subject to appointment availability and at the artists discretion. You are paying for artist time, product and other expenses used to provide you with a service. No refunds will be given for any reason on services or products or training. If you are unhappy with a service, you may contact us within 48 hours of your appointment to discuss your concerns and if a fix can be done to address your concerns, it will be done so with a complimentary 30 minute express touch up if it is the fault of application or product. Any concerns addressed after 48 hours of your last appointment or if you failed to follow the proper aftercare instructions, will be charged at full price for the service.


While we do love kids and some of us even have our own, please make other arrangements for your children during your appointment. This is time set aside for you and your enjoyment as well as for us to work on your lashes, brows, etc.



If weather is an issue and the studio does happen to close, an email will be sent out as well as a notice posted on Facebook and Instagram. If we do close it is because safety is an issue and while we all love lashes and the like, it is not worth risking a life. Every effort will be made to reschedule your appointment ASAP if this does happen. However, if we are open then please know that you are still responsible for getting to your appointment. Please let us know if you have any questions where inclimate weather may be an issue.
