Before my Lash Appt. How should I prepare?

Because the application can take time, it's important that some things be done before arriving for your appointment:
📷▪ #Nomakeup should be worn the day of your appointment, however if this is unavoidable then Please remove all eye makeup with a mild, oil-free cleanser prior to your appointment. I say this because eye makeup can interfere with the adhesive bond and shorten the lifespan of your lash extensions, so it's very important your natural lashes be as clean as possible. I have seen it before where there is so much residue on the lashes from mascara and other eye makeup that the extensions just slide right off! It is all but impossible to completely remove this residue at the time of your appointment and if I have to remove it then there will also be an additional fee and you may also not get as much lash time. Also avoid curling your lashes, come with your lashes in their natural state.
📷▪ Please arrive a few minutes early to fill out paper work and to discuss anything regarding your appointment before you get onto the table.
📷▪ If you are a contact lens wearer, please remove them. This isn't required but it is recommended as the contact lenses themselves can retain and hold in the fumes from the adhesive leaving your eyes red and irritated and very uncomfortable.
📷▪ Wear comfortable clothing, you're going to be there lying on your back for quite a while so you might as well be comfortable. Also a blanket will be provided should you get cold. You may want to refrain from wearing large dangling earrings or wearing your hair in a ponytail or bun as this can cause a huge discomfort.
📷▪ To make you as comfortable as possible and to avoid delays, please visit the bathroom before your procedure. If you need to get up in the middle of your appointment the eyepads and any tape will have to be removed and reapplied and you will not get nearly as much lash time.
📷▪ Limit your caffeine intake before your appointment!!! Too much caffeine (coffee, soda, & certain medications) can make your eyes twitch when closed. Making the process more difficult for the me to properly isolate & apply #lashextensions. This also makes it more time consuming & appointment rates are based on many factors including time.
📷▪ Consider taking an antihistamine if you suffer from allergies.
📷▪ Please silence your cell phone. It is very important that your eyes remain closed during the application and a ringing cell phone can be a distraction causing you to unconsciously open your eyes unexpectedly.
📷▪ Lastly, please ensure that you have somewhere lined up for small children to be during your appointment. You will be required to lay with your eyes shut and the salon can be a dangerous place for unattended wee ones! Safety first!
